The city of Tema is preparing for one of the most exciting community and cultural food events of the year as BMT Pub proudly presents Berma Nkwan 2026 – Father's Day Cooking Festival. Scheduled for 21st June 2026 at 7:00 AM, this unique celebration will take place at BMT Pub, Tema Community 1, Site 19 — bringing together food lovers, fathers, families, chefs, creatives, businesses, and the entire Tema community for a day filled with culture, entertainment, networking, and delicious Ghanaian cuisine.
"Berma Nkwan," which translates to "Men's Soup" in Akan, is more than just a cooking competition or food event. It is a cultural experience designed to celebrate fatherhood, unity, local cuisine, creativity, and community bonding through food and entertainment.
The festival highlights the importance of fathers and men in society while creating an atmosphere where families and communities can come together to celebrate Ghanaian culture through cooking, music, fun activities, and networking.
